Yes, make sure to have 3-5 industry references ready to go. Send those emails asking for what email address or phone number you can put down.

are all great options!

Hate to say it, but a website is a digital portfolio that if you are applying for representation is a non negotiable. Make sure to have a really solid landing page that speaks to your type!
